Beacon Hill Park
100 Douglas Street
Beacon Hill Park is about a 20 minute walk from Albion Manor.
Unparalleled views mark it in every way: from native wildflowers blanketing the fragile Garry oak meadows or wild animals grazing in the early morning light, to kite enthusiasts and para-gliders celebrating the ocean-side bluffs or the quiet oases of both natural and landscaped gardens.
Beacon Hill Park is also the western terminus, the Mile "0", of the 8,000 kilometer Trans-Canada Highway a popular photo destination for many visitors. But don’t miss the Children’s Watering Garden a celebration of creativity and playfulness in all seasons. Beverley is a guest of Albion Manor's from Kansas. She comes to Victoria 3 times a year and stays for 2 weeks. The principle reason she comes is to go to Pacific Opera Victoria. But the important reason that she comes is to feed the ducks at Beacon Hill Park! I'm sure they know her by name.
You could drive to Beacon Hill Park if you liked, but it's only a 15 minute walk from Albion Manor so why not leave your vehicle with us and enjoy a relazing stroll.
